We are seeking a highly qualified tenure-track professor in accounting to join our faculty at Thompson Rivers University (TRU). As a tenure-track professor, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses, conduct research, and contribute to the academic community.
Key Responsibilities- Teach accounting courses to undergraduate and graduate students
- Conduct research in accounting and related fields
- Contribute to the development of the accounting curriculum
- Participate in departmental and university service activities

- A Canadian CPA designation (preferred)
We are particularly interested in candidates who have a research focus in areas such as ESG reporting, corporate governance, corporate innovation, accounting fraud, and the use of archival or experiential methods. Candidates with expertise in community-engaged research or who incorporate Indigenous Ways of Knowing into their research are also encouraged to apply.
