Accounting Professor

Thompson Rivers University is seeking a tenure-track professor in accounting to join its faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service. The department is particularly interested in candidates with a strong commitment to excellence in scholarly teaching and research in the field of accounting.
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in accounting or a related field, with a proven record of teaching and research in accounting. A Canadian CPA designation is preferred. The research focus of the accounting faculty is currently in the areas of ESG reporting, corporate governance, corporate innovation, accounting fraud, and the use of archival or experiential methods.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department's research agenda, teach a variety of courses, and participate in departmental and university service. The university offers a competitive salary, benefits, and professional development funds.
