Role Overview

As a Senior Biostatistics Consultant - Health Economics and Market Access, you will be part of the Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) department. This expert team comprises over 80 professionals from various backgrounds, collaborating across multiple countries. Our focus areas include Health Economics, Evidence Value & Access, and Biostatistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary analyst on projects involving Indirect Treatment Comparisons (ITC), Network Meta-Analysis (NMA), and clinical trial data evaluations.
  • Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements and expectations.
  • Determine the most effective methodological approaches to meet client needs.
  • Oversee the execution of solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables with the support of statistical analysts.
  • Facilitate client meetings and act as the main liaison for project communications.
  • Manage project timelines and coordinate team efforts to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Represent the company’s expertise at conferences, presentations, and other external events.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members, enhancing their methodological skills and professional growth.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure optimal staffing and resource allocation for projects within your portfolio.
  • Maintain high standards of quality for deliverables, sharing best practices with project teams.

Business Development:

  • Assist in identifying opportunities for project extensions and fostering relationships with key clients.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals in your area of expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Statistics or Biostatistics (minimum MS or equivalent).
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in the field of Statistics.
  • Proven expertise in Indirect Treatment Comparisons (ITC).

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of statistical methodologies for clinical trial data analysis and NMA.
  • Ability to design, implement, and articulate project strategies effectively.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or SAS.

Competencies:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and innovative thinking.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in leading project teams and supervising cross-functional collaboration.
  • Outstanding time management abilities.

Language Proficiency: English C1-C2 (Assessment during initial contact).
