Maintenance Clerk Job Description

At Ocean Capital, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage maintenance requests and create work orders in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (JDE)
  • Enter repair order data, recharge hours, and weekly hours and kilometers of equipment into JDE
  • Obtain quotes, create purchase orders, and receive consumables
  • Assist drivers with requests for cleaners, PPE, and other supplies
  • Communicate with drivers to obtain missing information on pre-trips
  • Work with mechanics to obtain missing details from work orders
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Provide coverage for the Maintenance Planner during vacation
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Exposure to JD Edwards One World is an asset

  • Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency
  • Organized self-starter who works effectively with minimal supervision
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
