Strategic Training Evaluation Advisor

As a Strategic Training Evaluation Advisor at CATSA, you will play a critical role in supporting the measurement and evaluation of our training programs delivered at Canadian airports.

The position involves gathering and analyzing training performance data, writing clear and concise reports, recommendations, and presentations related to the evaluation of training programs.

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a specialization in Instructional Design, Adult Education, or another relevant field
  • A minimum of four years of experience designing and deploying training effectiveness/evaluations
  • One to three years of experience evaluating formal adult training programs
  • Demonstrated experience in training evaluation and analysis
  • Experience planning, organizing, and coordinating program implementation, application, and effectiveness
  • Demonstrated experience writing clear and concise reports, briefing materials, and presentations
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience synthesizing findings and presenting information in a business context

This position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to multitask, and adapt to changing priorities. You must also be able to work independently and within a team, persuade and liaise effectively, and communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

We are looking for candidates with a strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience using mixed-method approaches to research and evaluation. Knowledge of training evaluation and performance measurements such as the Kirkpatrick Model, Philips ROI Model, and Brinkerhoff model is also an asset.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
