Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Registered Nurse to join our care team at Mountain Lake Seniors Community.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including assessments, medication administration, and developing individualized care plans. They will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments as needed.
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families on health-related topics.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless care transitions and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care.
Requirements:
  • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals.
  • Graduate of a recognized school of nursing.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Cultural education and experience an asset.
