Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Registered Nurse to join our team at Mountain Lake Seniors Community, a trusted long-term care facility in Nelson, BC.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, including assessments, medication administration, and developing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of residents' physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet residents' needs
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Document resident care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals
  • Graduate of a recognized school of nursing
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cultural education and experience an asset
