Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to join our Customer Support team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, troubleshooting application software issues, and maintaining customer contact and call ticket information.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer telephone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Proactively monitor application behavior to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot Descartes application software issues reported by customers.
  • Maintain customer contact and call ticket information within our existing database.
  • Develop procedural and diagnostic documentation to improve support processes.
  • Participate in on-call duty on a rotating basis to ensure 24/7 support coverage.
Requirements
  • University or college level in a computer science or technology program (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in an application support environment.
  • Database experience, SQL Server.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Service-oriented and solution-driven approach.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 to $50,000 CAD, depending on experience. This is a remote opportunity, open to applicants authorized to work anywhere in Canada.
