Job Title: Site Superintendent, Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team at Northcan Construction Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Management: Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, as well as hire and supervise activities of subcontractors.
  • Contract Management: Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Site Management: Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, and prepare reports on project progress.
  • Computer and Technology: Proficient in MS Office, including MS Word, and other relevant software.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable and possess basic security clearance.
  • Transportation and Travel: Own vehicle and ability to travel as required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, judgment, organization, teamwork, values, and ethics.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience

Outdoors, with a fast-paced environment, and tight deadlines.
