About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team at Craig McNaught. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote their physical well-being.
  • Change non-sterile dressings and provide wound care as needed.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the client's living space is comfortable and safe.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring clients have access to essential items.
Work Environment

As a Home Care Assistant, you will work in a non-smoking environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to relocate to the client's home, where you will be provided with room and board.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, as we will provide training to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Previous experience in a similar field is an asset, but not required.
  • You must be available to start immediately and commit to a temporary work term.
