About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team at Craig McNaught. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide personalized support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our clients.
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being.
  • Change non-sterile dressings and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring our clients have access to essential items.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a similar field is an asset.
  • Work site environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work setting: Room and board provided, with relocation costs not covered by the employer.
  • Physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and walking.
  • Weight handling: Ability to lift between 81 and 100 kg (179-220 lbs).
