Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Tigh Na Mara Seaside Spa Resort & Conference Centre.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our resort rooms, common areas, and public spaces. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and overtime required.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
