Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Tigh Na Mara Seaside Spa Resort & Conference Centre.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
