We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team at RhynoCare Healthcare in the Shelburne area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a variety of long term and acute care facilities, providing exceptional nursing care to residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
  • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to deliver excellent nursing and personal care.
  • Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges.
  • Manage the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.

Requirements:

  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Able to work with persons with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR.
  • Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) and negative TB skin test within one year.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shift times and 'float' between units.
