Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Preparer to join our team at Lazio Italian Bakery and Deli. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of food items to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Portion and package food items for serving
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities and inventory
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a clean and organized workspace
  • Provide excellent customer service by serving customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Will train on the job
  • Permanent employment opportunity
  • 32 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
