**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery, including on-pump coronary artery bypass surgeries, complex valve surgery, aortic surgery, and other cardiac procedures.
  • Manage postoperative cardiac surgery patients in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVU).
  • Participate in preoperative assessments of cardiac surgery patients and provide anesthesia consultation services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of anesthesia protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Teach and mentor cardiac fellows, medical students, and residents.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you must have current experience managing postoperative cardiac surgery patients in the CVU and be proficient in providing anesthesia care for complex cardiac procedures.
