About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). As a Medical Oncologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality cancer care to our patients and contributing to the advancement of cancer research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise in the management of lung, head & neck, and gastrointestinal malignancies
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct research and participate in clinical trials to improve cancer treatment outcomes
  • Teach and mentor postgraduate trainees and undergraduate medical students
  • Support the activities of the Vancouver Medical Oncology Program and the UBC Medical Oncology Training Program
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada
  • Eligibility for a clinical appointment in the Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia
  • Valid license to practice medicine in Canada
