About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Kamloops Satellite Clinic, operated by BC Cancer – Kelowna. As a Medical Oncologist, you will be part of a well-established team of specialized medical oncologists, GP oncologists, and allied health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and treatment plans in a clinical setting.
  • Participate in clinical, research, administrative, and educational activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement cancer treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in oncology.
Requirements
  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology.
  • Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
  • Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer, and Royal Inland Hospital.
  • Eligibility for a clinical appointment to the University of British Columbia, Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine.
