About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the sales floor, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign Sales Tasks: Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring that all areas of the store are adequately staffed and customers receive excellent service.
  • Merchandise Management: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, requests, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash and maintain a secure and accurate cash handling process.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking work environment.
  • Work Setting: Retail service establishment.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking.

Experience
  • 1-2 Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of retail sales experience.
