Home Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Toor Family. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our elderly clients, assisting with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and household tasks. You will also have the opportunity to work with newcomers and refugees, supporting their integration into our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to elderly clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with household tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation
  • Support newcomers and refugees with their immediate settlement needs, including housing, transportation, and language training
  • Participate in a government or community program that supports youth employment, offering on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
