Full-Time On-Air Host and Music Assistant

Rogers Sports & Media is seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Air Host and Music Assistant to join our dynamic team at COUNTRY 93.3 in Fort McMurray, AB.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Host and produce weekday live morning shows, delivering engaging and entertaining content to our audience.
  • Prepare and present on-brand content for on-air and online platforms, ensuring it is relevant and appealing to our demographic.
  • Manage social media platforms, creating and curating content that resonates with our audience.
  • Assist the music department with maintaining music logs, editing, scheduling, and other tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date on world events and their impact on our station's audience.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide voice tracks or cover other shifts as needed.
  • Perform commercial narration and other production tasks as required.
  • Host remote broadcasts and emcee local events.
Requirements:
  • Proven on-air experience and ability to entertain and engage an audience.
  • Excellent social media skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for interacting with the local audience and creating a positive experience.
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills, with excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Familiarity with WideOrbit, MusicMasterCS, VOXPRO, and Adobe Audio is an asset.
