Dynamic On-Air Host and Music Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced On-Air Host and Music Assistant to join our dynamic team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a key member of our COUNTRY 93.3 team, you will be responsible for hosting our weekday live morning show, preparing engaging content for on-air and online, and assisting the music department with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Host and produce weekday live morning shows
  • Develop and deliver on-brand, entertaining, and demographic-appropriate content for on-air and online
  • Manage social media platforms while on-air
  • Assist the music department with music logs, editing, scheduling, and other tasks
  • Stay up-to-date on world events and their impact on our station's audience
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Team as needed
  • Voice track or cover other shifts as necessary
  • Perform commercial narration for production purposes
  • Host remote broadcasts and emcee local events
Requirements:
  • Proven on-air experience and ability to engage audiences
  • Excellent social media skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for connecting with the local audience through various channels
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills in all settings
  • Positive attitude, sense of humor, and ability to work collaboratively
  • Familiarity with WideOrbit, MusicMasterCS, VOXPRO, and Adobe Audio is an asset
