Physiotherapist I

As a Physiotherapist I at the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients. • Provide therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence in development, disease, disability, chronic conditions, illness, and functional decline.
• Collaborate with patients and families in determining, implementing, and evaluating appropriate rehabilitation strategies.
• Participate in interprofessional teams to build awareness, enrich supports, and engage in quality improvement.
• Contribute to quality improvement and professional community through peer mentoring and supervising students.

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.
• Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
• Proficient problem-solving skills, including analytical thinking and conflict resolution/negotiation.
• Effective written, verbal, communication, and computer skills.
• Strong and effective leadership skills, as well as organizational skills.

• Experience with Connect Care (electronic medical record).
• Experience in leading or coordinating services and teams, while working closely with interdisciplinary team members.
• Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
