We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist I to join our dynamic healthcare team at the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital. As a Physiotherapist I, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide therapeutic interventions to clients with a range of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal physical function and independence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to clients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
- Supervise students and provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants, Therapy Aides, and Provisional Physiotherapists.
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.
- Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
- Completion of a master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience.
- Proficient problem-solving skills, including analytical thinking and conflict resolution/negotiation.
- Effective written, verbal, communication, and computer skills.
- Strong and effective leadership skills, as well as organizational skills.
- Experience with Connect Care (electronic medical record) is considered an asset.
- Experience in leading or coordinating services and teams, while working closely with interdisciplinary team members is ideal.
- Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association is an asset.
