At Alberta Ltd, we are seeking a skilled and reliable long haul truck driver to join our team.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials;
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently;
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and equipment are in good working order;
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including brakes, tires, lights, cold storage and other equipment;
  • Ensure cargo is secure and properly tarped;
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as necessary;
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • A valid Class 1 or A driver's license;
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement;
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required;
  • Will train.
