We are seeking a reliable long haul truck driver to join our team at Nishan Transport.

About the Role

As a long haul truck driver with Nishan Transport, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations. You will operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Your primary duties will include mountain driving expertise, professionalism in customer service, load and unload goods, oversee condition of vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection, receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.

You will also be required to have AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Additionally, you must have experience in accident or incident reports, bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), trans-border documentation, and trip reports.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive group insurance benefits, life insurance, mileage paid, dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, free parking available, learning/training paid by employer, and travel insurance.

Work Environment

This is an on the road job that requires you to spend most of your time away from home. However, you will have the opportunity to see new places and meet new people while working for Nishan Transport.
