Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled long haul truck driver to join our team at Seastone Transport Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Loading and unloading goods, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment regularly.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure all aspects of vehicle safety and maintenance are met.
Requirements
  • A valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Experience as a truck driver is an asset but not required.
  • Cultural competency training and awareness to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Diversity and cross-cultural trainings to support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
Benefits
  • A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Overtime pay for hours worked beyond the standard 40-hour week.
