Nursing Care Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Care Support Worker to join our team at Ontario Limited. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Supply and empty bed pans, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, to monitor their health.
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care and attention to detail.
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms, promoting a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines, encouraging physical activity and mobility.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients with dignity and respect.
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs, responding promptly and professionally.
  • Collect specimens, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, remaining calm and composed.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 32 hours per week, with a flexible schedule.
