Dynacare is seeking a skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accuracy of laboratory results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process blood samples and other laboratory specimens in a timely and accurate manner
- Enter requisitions and results into our system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
- Work collaboratively with our laboratory team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality results
- Meet quality metrics and regulatory compliance requirements
Requirements:
- Secondary school diploma and completion of a Laboratory Assistant training program or Medical Lab Assistance course with phlebotomy specialization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
