About This Opportunity

Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited is seeking a skilled Warehouse Laborer/Merchandiser to join our team. As a key member of our sales and merchandising department, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products are fully stocked and available to consumers in local grocery stores.

As a Warehouse Laborer/Merchandiser, you will be responsible for maintaining and replenishing products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers. This will involve transporting product between the backroom/storage room and the front-of-store using manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand-trucks.

You will also be responsible for building, changing, or removing product displays while adhering to company standards. Additionally, you will maintain product signage, clean product space, and secure damaged or defective product.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining an orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements
  • Maintaining professional relationships with co-workers and customers
  • Repetitively lifting, carrying, and positioning product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance
  • Consistent kneeling, squatting, and reaching above the head
  • Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently with minimal supervision. If you have experience working in grocery, retail, or warehousing, and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and report inventory levels, identify and process damaged product, and re-pack product as needed
  • Product Display: Build, change, or remove product displays while adhering to company standards
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain product signage, clean product space, and secure damaged or defective product
  • Equipment Operation: Operate manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks and hand-trucks
  • Customer Service: Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers
Requirements
  • Must be 17 years of age
  • Experience working in grocery, retail, or warehousing preferred
  • Experience working under little to no supervision preferred
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments preferred
  • Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours
  • Must have current vehicle liability insurance
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record with no major violations
