About This Position

As a Mobile Warehouse Laborer-Merchandiser for Coke Canada Bottling, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products are consistently available and well-presented in local grocery stores. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and restocking beverage sections, end caps, racks, and displays to meet consumer demand. You will efficiently transport products from the backroom or storage areas to the front of the store using manual equipment.

Territory: Corner Brook to Deer Lake Flexible Schedule: 8 to 16 hours per week, primarily on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday , with adjustments based on business needs and peak seasons. Compensation: $16.50/hr plus Mileage (62 cents/KM) and 4% vacation pay.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license and have reliable access to a vehicle for work-related tasks. This entry-level position in the sales and merchandising department at Coke Canada offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth and development, with potential for future career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure product availability by maintaining and replenishing store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers, utilizing manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Construct, modify, or dismantle product displays while adhering to company standards, ensuring proper signage, cleanliness, and security of damaged or defective products. Comply with all Coke Canada Bottling and store policies regarding backroom operations, display areas, product replenishment, equipment usage, and safety protocols. Organize backroom stock by monitoring inventory levels, identifying and reporting discrepancies, processing damaged products, and completing necessary paperwork. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in accordance with company safety and sanitation standards. Foster professional relationships with co-workers and customers. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and position products weighing up to 50 lbs (22 kg) above shoulder height without assistance. Frequent kneeling, squatting, and reaching above head. Capability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand truck) for distances of at least 100 yards without assistance. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Qualifications

Minimum age of 17 years. Previous experience in grocery, retail, or warehousing is preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is advantageous. Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred. Must have a personal vehicle available for work purposes. Current vehicle liability insurance is required. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
