Bookkeeping Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Healthy Cart Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and corporate income tax returns.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including variance analysis and budgeting.
- Education: College diploma or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Language: English language proficiency.
