We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Thai Smile Cuisine Ltd. As an Ethnic Food Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Mentorship programs for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees
- Opportunities for youth, veterans, and Indigenous people
- Mentorship and coaching for mature workers
- Visible minority mentorship programs
