Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Bison Concrete & Construction Limited. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete projects.
Key Responsibilities- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to meet our high standards.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to ensure a secure and durable finish.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect them from the elements.
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to their original condition.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to extend their lifespan.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects to ensure accurate budgeting.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade.
- Permanent employment with a regular 35 to 40 hour workweek.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
