**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete structures. This includes filling hollows, removing spots, and compacting concrete to meet our strict standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
* Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it meets our quality standards
* Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
* Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently
* Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices
* Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to ensure structural integrity
* Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and prevent damage
* Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to their original condition
* Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
* Estimate costs and materials for projects
* Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy

**Requirements**

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents

**Work Environment**

* Permanent position with 35 to 40 hours per week
* Work language: English
