Job Title: Automation QA Technical Lead

Eaton's Energy Automation Solutions division is seeking a highly skilled QA Technical Lead to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and collaborate with a multidisciplinary development team.

Job Summary:

The QA Technical Lead will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software solutions by developing and executing automated tests, collaborating with engineers and project managers, and mentoring the team throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute automated tests to ensure software meets high standards
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers in an agile environment
  • Mentor the team throughout the development lifecycle
  • Innovate and enhance quality processes
  • Define and review project quality standards
  • Schedule and manage different testing cycle phases
  • Oversee test planning, execution, and issue tracking
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's studies in engineering, computer science, or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in test automation and applying software testing techniques
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in programming (C++/C#, Java, and/or Python)
  • Experience with tests automation tools for Desktop, Web applications, or Web services (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Test Complete, SOAPUI, Postman)
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD
  • Fluency in French and English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading an engineering team
  • Studies of Software Quality Assurance or certifications in software testing
  • Experience in performance testing and tools (e.g., JMeter)
  • Knowledge in power system engineering
