Job Summary

DWT Truck & Trailer Repair Inc is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in heavy duty equipment repair. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
Requirements
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in heavy duty equipment repair
