Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Integrity Specialist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Data Integrity Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our clinical data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze data quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve data quality issues and ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Develop and implement business processes and policies to promote data quality and integrity.
  • Provide training and support to staff on data management and quality improvement.
  • Work independently to investigate and resolve data quality concerns, ensuring technology systems are running optimally.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in health information management, with a focus on data quality and integrity.
  • 2 years of experience in facilitating business process improvements and implementing policies.
  • Experience working with electronic health records and data management systems.
  • Post-secondary diploma in health information management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Canadian Health Information Management Association.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings.
  • Lift and carry items of up to 10 kg.
  • Travel throughout the province, requiring a valid Manitoba driver's license and use of a personal motor vehicle.
  • Work flexible hours to accommodate service requirements and support 24/7/365 client needs.
Security Clearance

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred.
