Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Architect to lead our technical design and migration processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining the technical architecture and ensuring seamless data migration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Design and Migration: Lead the technical design of data migration processes, identifying technical tools and coding tasks required for successful migration.
  2. Vendor Collaboration: Work with vendors to define technical design and integrate with their migration tools, staging areas, and processes.
  3. Documentation and Quality Assurance: Document high-level and mid-level migration technical design and provide guidance on unit testing.
  4. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with migration developers, analysts, and application architects to review and understand high-level migration strategy and detailed business requirements.
  5. Data Validation and Quality Management: Assist in data validation and lead data extraction, conversion, and quality management process automation.

Qualifications:

  1. Technical Expertise: Strong database skills, knowledge of Informatica, and general technical skills to handle non-SQL sources and vendor migration tools.
  2. Leadership Experience: Many years of technical experience, including some years as technical lead.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Business and Functional Requirements: Develop or assist with business and functional requirements, project scope, estimates of effort, and duration.
  2. Technical Requirements: Translate functional and business requirements into technical requirements.
  3. Application Software Development: Develop and/or support technical aspects of application software, user interfaces, and third-party components.
  4. Testing and Implementation: Conduct, assist with, and/or support unit and system tests, and provide input into technical standards for the technical framework.

Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in this role – Preferably with a recognized professional certification.
