Job OverviewAs a Data Integrity Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring data quality, collaborating with source system organizations, and providing regular communication and support to resolve data quality issues. You will also facilitate continuous improvement in the quality of client information across source systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor data quality and collaborate with source system organizations to resolve data quality issues.
- Facilitate continuous improvement in the quality of client information across source systems and processes.
- Provide training to site contacts and application maintenance teams.
- Work independently with minimal direction and protect confidential information.
- Use analytical and methodical approach to investigate and resolve concerns and ensure technology systems are running optimally to meet user needs.
- 5 years of experience using and training others on admissions/discharge/transfer (ADT) systems in a health information services environment, and using spreadsheets, databases, general office systems, and registration and digital records management systems to analyze and manage data, and to promote data quality and integrity.
- 2 years of experience facilitating, developing and implementing business processes and policies, and monitoring emerging multi-jurisdictional trends in data management and naming conventions.
- Experience working under the Manitoba Personal Health Information Act and working with report development tools are assets.
- A post-secondary diploma in health information management.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Active member in good standing and current certification from the Canadian Health Information Management Association.
- PHIA (Patient Health Information Act) certification.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities at the staff level.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work safely in a typical computerized office environment.
- Ability to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg.
- Ability to travel throughout the province.
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate the service requirements of source system and client organizations.
