Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Specialist

The Physiotherapist reports to a Health Services Manager and collaborates with colleagues to determine team goals and objectives. This role assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients in a community healthcare setting who present with actual or potential impairments, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
The Physiotherapist educates and communicates with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers with regard to health promotion, physiotherapy treatment, and pain management.
About You
We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with a degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized school of Physiotherapy. The ideal candidate will have current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapy and eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Continuing education course in the area of orthopedics is an asset.

Hours and Compensation
This is a Permanent Full-Time (100%) position, 75 Hours Bi-Weekly. The hourly rate is $33.97 - $42.89. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
