About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Engineer to join our team at BBA Consultants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing various stages of project execution, including proposals, onsite surveys, and technical report drafting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out engineering projects in protection and arc flash studies;
  • Conduct onsite surveys of electrical installations;
  • Conduct short-circuit and protection coordination studies;
  • Perform system modeling using specialized software;
  • Draft high-quality technical reports to support our clients;
  • Apply established work methods and improve them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
  • Member of the OIQ;
  • Available for short-term and long-term assignments with our clients in Québec and the rest of Canada;
  • Perfectly bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written;
  • Have the ASP Construction card for health and general safety on construction sites; BBA can assist you in obtaining it, where necessary;
  • Valid driver's licence;
  • Asset: a diploma from the Institut en génie de l'énergie électrique (IGEE).
