Job Summary

Frontier Airlines, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager III to lead large-scale complex projects and programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and managing budgets, schedules, and resource plans to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage large-scale projects and programs to successful completion.
  • Work multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Identify and align project objectives with company goals.
  • Oversee strategic plan, monitoring and adapting as needed.
  • Expertly create and manage all necessary documentation.
  • Monitor, drive, and manage all aspects of project scope.
  • Clearly communicate and manage project expectations to all stakeholders.
  • Expertly facilitate all project-related meetings.
  • Expertly manage projects in/via multiple project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, POC, etc.).
  • Participate in the development and evolution of PMO standards.
Requirements
  • 8 to 10+ years of experience with highly complex IT projects/programs from inception to completion.
  • Master's Degree in IT Project Management, Business Analysis, or IT Leadership preferred; combination of relevant education and work experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Master's Certification in IT Project Management, Certified Scrum Master, or similar work experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the commercial aviation field or relatable experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise network systems.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT implementation, development, or complex process changes.
  • Experience with providing leadership to business units for establishing technology direction and utilization.
  • Specific proven experience with managing external vendor relationships as pertains to project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of use case, business, business requirement, functional requirement, and user stories validation and management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, POC, Hybrid, Kanban, Scrum project management methodology.
  • Expert-level knowledge of IT project management templates and software.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively set project management standards to specific requirements and unify project teams around those standards.
