Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join our team at Bunge. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with maintenance staff, electrical staff, operations staff, and contractors to achieve common goals.
- Participate in plant safety training and hazard detection to maintain a safe working environment.
- Contribute to the overall plant safety by participating in on-call rotations for repairs during off-hours.
- Ensure full knowledge and compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Comply with related Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain a high level of quality in all work performed.
- Be punctual and reliable, with the ability to work regular hours and adapt to changing schedules as needed.
- Cooperate with other maintenance staff, operations staff, supervisors, management, and outside contractors as required.
- Wear and utilize all required personal protective equipment, including harnesses, masks, clothing, etc.
- Work in various conditions, including heat, cold, at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and climb ladders, catwalks, scaffolding, etc.
- Be willing to learn new procedures and participate in training to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements:
- Training and/or experience in drive systems, gearboxes, belts, chains.
- Training and/or experience in grain handling and conveying systems, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, screw conveyors.
- Training and/or experience in welding techniques, including stick, MIG, and TIG.
- Training and/or experience in metal repair and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and understand written manuals, blueprints, work orders, etc.
- Ability to create written records of work, including parts used, problems, etc.
- Interprovincial Millwright ticket is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
