About the Role

Cuso International is seeking a highly skilled International Gender Equality Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in promoting gender equality and social inclusion in developing countries.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Evaluate current approaches used to advocate for gender equality and social inclusion, and design strategies to improve their effectiveness.
  • Work alongside local colleagues to implement a gender equality and social inclusion strategy that aligns with the partner organization's strategic plan.
  • Conduct a gender analysis and support gender mainstreaming within the partner organization.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on topics such as gender-based violence, gender mainstreaming, and gender programming.
  • Support local staff in developing best practices and reviewing documents related to gender equality and social inclusion.

**Requirements:**

  • University degree in gender studies, social sciences, humanities, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in areas related to gender equality and social inclusion.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.

**What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

  • Pre-placement training, In-Country Orientation, and Reintegration Debriefing.
