About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Coach to join our team as a MOVE Coach in Calgary. As a MOVE Coach, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional fitness programming for youth with autism and intellectual disabilities through adaptive and progressive workouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver fitness programs for youth with autism and intellectual disabilities
- Collaborate with other MOVE Coaches to develop best practices
- Create and develop workout plans that meet the programming guidelines of MOVE by GoodLife Kids
- Build and maintain positive relationships with MOVE Participants and Community Partners
- Represent GoodLife Kids Foundation in a professional, positive, caring, and friendly manner
Requirements
- Passion for working with youth with disabilities
- Experience delivering fitness classes
- Able to deliver in-person classes
- Reliable transportation
- Current nationally recognized Group Fitness/Coaching certification
- Current CPR-A certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven leadership ability
