About the Role
Mainstreet Equity Corporation, a distinguished real estate company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), is seeking a skilled Resident Manager to join its team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our residential properties in Saskatoon, SK.
Key Responsibilities
As a Resident Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Generating new business opportunities and conducting unit showings with prospective tenants.
- Negotiating and approving rental or lease agreements on behalf of the company.
- Posting rental ads to attract new tenants and ensuring timely completion of maintenance requests.
- Providing exceptional customer service and addressing residents' issues within 24 hours.
- Coordinating with regional managers and maintenance staff to implement effective capital improvement plans.
- Managing tenant maintenance requests and ensuring timely completion of repairs and renovations.
- Overseeing the upkeep and regular maintenance of firefighting and security equipment and systems.
- Inspecting buildings and vacant suites to report on any deficiencies and maintenance requests.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in property management or a related field.
- Knowledge of Yardi system and ability to utilize it to record transactions and run operational reports.
