We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Honkers Pub & Eatery Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing menus, as well as managing kitchen operations, inventory, and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision
  • Coordinate special events and functions, such as weddings and corporate events
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
