Job Summary:

We are looking for a safety-conscious and results-driven individual to lead our underground mine production team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mine operations, leadership, and safety management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of mine production personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Manage and direct personnel, including training and development.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve safety and environmental performance.
  • Monitor and report on production metrics and safety performance.

Requirements:

  • Valid ticket to supervise underground as per Saskatchewan mine regulations.
  • Valid GMSA - General Mine Safety Awareness training.
  • Valid First Aid/CPR certificates.
  • Valid WHMIS and SCOT.
  • Minimum five years mining operations experience.
  • Outstanding record of leading teams safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to work effectively with people and coordinate functions with other departments and contractors.
