Job Summary

As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you will report to the Client Services Coordinator and deliver high-standard care that allows our clients to remain safe and comfortable in their own home environment.

The services provided will be detailed in the personalized care plan. We are currently recruiting for PSWs in York Region.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care, activities of daily living, meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry.
  • Accompany clients on outings, appointments, shopping, errands when necessary.
  • Provide companionship to clients and respite for families.
  • Document daily interactions and charting in electronic records.
Qualifications
  • Able to proficiently communicate in English (verbal and written)
  • Ability to speak other languages is considered an asset
  • Travel to and from clients using public transit or personal vehicle.
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent required (RPN, RN, foreign-trained healthcare professional).
  • Previous experience as a PSW is an asset.
  • Access to internet and mobile phone.
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificate.
  • Vulnerable Sector Screen or recent Police Clearance Certificate.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer competitive benefits, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career growth.
